Title Time to act on Bracho case
Daily Racing Form
Description An article by Jim Bolus on Jesus Bracho and Rosemary Homeister. Jesus Bracho was a jockey who falsified records qualifying him for a position he would have otherwise not received. While in this position he received an Eclipse Award. When his actions were discovered the award then belonged to Rosemary Homeister, the first woman to receive the award. There are rough drafts, typed notes, and photocopies of the other articles on the subject. There are also copies of the National Turf Writers Association newsletter. Rosemary's grandmother also wrote a letter to Jim Bolus thanking him for his article.
